Well I guess thats what happens when I ask a neanderthal to post an up date on Fay for everyone.
We took Fay to Dr. Hubbards today. They took more xrays. He said she damaged her wrist pretty good. He gave her a choice. Said he could set it the way it was OR she could come back tomarrow and he could give her something so she couldn't feel it and he could put it back into place and put a cast on. Wimpy Fay told him he better knock her out. They re-wrapped it in the splint, this time not so tight, which is good cause she was saying there was no circulation in it. She does have some pretty colors under that splint. I told the nurse that if she'd have stayed on her trike she wouldn't have broken her wrist. The doc said, he couldn't complain to much, a trike is better than a 2 wheeler. Bungee will have to write the report tomarrow.
Dale, she is trying to be a blonde. can't walk and chew gum at the same time. She was lucky and had her helmet on, so she didn't hurt her brain any worse than it all ready is. Tomorrow morning (Thursday) she will get her arm set! There is nothing they can do for her head.
Hey, I guess thats as close as we'll get to the horses mouth. Thanks Crittor for the info. Barb & I had talked to Dick & Fay, but I thought if I relayed the info, I'd goof it up & have everyone thinkin Fay was with child.
Hey Dale, I'm gonna be a busy body and jump right in here. I don't think Fay is gonna answer ya, so I'm gonna and if she don't like what I'm sayin' and she even turns her puter on she can counter. As you know she broke her wrist. They went to see Dr. Hubbard today. He said that as long as she don't mess it up anymore then it already is he won't have to operate. Her arm is in a sling right now. Larry and I will be transporting her back to Hubbard on Wednesday aftenoon to get a cast on it. Bunge has a Doctors appointment at the VA in Columbia so he can't take her. This came straight from the Bungee mouth. He may have turned into a horse by now, I don't know. Man oh man, its really rotten to break a bone on the hand or arm that you write with or do everything with. Bunge is gonna have to do everything for her that she does with her right hand. When ya got a cast on its even hard to wipe your own butt. He might have to do that too! That's true love when your partner will do that for ya. I guess thats the worse part of for better or worse.
Did anything else happen this weekend? It really sucked for us. First Dale and Barb couldn't come to the meeting, then half of our members didn't come to the meeting so we could visit with them. Then Jack and Denise caught on fire. The 2 friends of our went to the hospital. Then Fay took a tumble and broke her wrist. The good part is that nothing happened to us directly, but when our friends hurt, so do we.
I don't know about you all but I'm prayin for a better week.
