We will meet at the O'Rielleys parking lot across the road from Ryans on Kearney betweem 9:30 and 10 am on Sunday Aug 17th, We will ride out to Gene & Garnet Simmons house in Preston, Mo.This is an important meeting as we will be voting in a new Director. Rick has asked to step down due to his health. You take 65 Hwy North to Preston, Mo. then at 54 Hwy take a left go West there house will be the 5th house on your right from 65 Hwy.

I TALK TO THEM THE OTHER DAY AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE HARD TO BRING ANYTHING ON A TRIKE. WE ARE GOING UP IN OUR SUV, AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO BRING SOMETHING WE CAN TAKE IT UP FOR YOU. BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO THEY SAID. HOPE THIS HELPS! PAW

ARTICLE V. OFFICERS AND DUTIES

(A) Directors Duties
The Director shall oversee all meetings of the Chapter; shall conduct all Chapter business; shall be responsible for notifying the membership of the time and place of all meetings; shall be responsible for holding at least one Chapter event each calendar year; shall collect all dues that have been accessed by the Chapter; shall be responsible for disbursing all funds owed by the Chapter; shall cause the
Chapter news to be forwarded to the BTW Headquarters for publishing; and shall perform other such duties that are inherent to the running of the Chapter.

ARTICLE VI. ELECTIONS
Chapter officers will be elected at a scheduled meeting of the Chapter.

(A-1) Method of Voting
Any member of the Chapter wishing to vote in an election will be allowed to vote either in person or by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots may be sent by postal mail or electronically, to the Secretary, prior to the election being held. All absentee ballots must contain the name of the person / or persons submitting the ballot.

(B) Qualification
Any member in good standing with both BTW and the Chapter will be eligible to seek and hold an office. Good standing shall mean that the members membership has not been revoked by either BTW or by the Chapter and that all appropriate dues have been paid.

(C) Term Of Office
All officers will be elected for a term of not less than 1 year or more than 3 years, except in the case of an officer resigning, not being able to carry out his or her duties or being terminated by the membership. In which case the newly elected officer will serve the duration of the term of the officer he or she is replacing.
Any officer may be re-elected for consecutive terms.

Absentee ballots must have your BTW #Number, and your Name, Address, City, Zip on it then send it to: Garnet Simmons (Treasurer) HC 65 Box 5 Preston, Mo. 65732. This is a must for your vote to count. Hope this helps!
