I know this is short notice, but maybe some of you real-early risers will see it.  There is to be a Grand Opening of a new cycle/ATV repair shop in Rolla tomorrow (Sat).  It will start at 10:00 a.m. and run all day. Don't know any more details.  It is Carl's Cycle & ATV Repair, 2401 N. Bishop Ave. (Hwy 63 N). It is on Hwy 63 on the north side of I-44. Owner's name is Carl Lackey, phone 573-426-6161.

Should be a chance to meet some bikers and maybe other trikers, as well as the shop owners, and to let them meet us and pass out some cards.  I thought it would be great if some of us could show up with our trikes and show off a little, and get to pass out some info.  I can't take our trike, though, because Carl has to work and I can't drive it.

Jacob, my almost-son-in-law, went out there a couple days ago and left a couple Trikers and a few OMT Newsletters and talked to them about advertising, but the lady of the ownership is in charge of that and she was not there; was supposed to be there today, but Jacob called and she was sick, so he could not talk with her.  We are going to try to get them as sponsors in the newsletter...maybe to advertise in the Triker, if not now, maybe later.

Jake also visited another biker shop here in Rolla (Sixth Street Choppers) to try to sign them up as NL sponsors, but will have to go back another day...the owner was not there and the other guy could not make such decisions.  But another guy was in there, who called a friend who was interested in triking.  The friend was so enthused he came down to the shop to talk with Jake and said he was going to go right home and kick his wife off the computer and sign up!  Don't know how that went down, but if you hear of a new BTW member in Rolla, it just might be true.

This has been a busy week at our house. Hope you all are having really good days.
