Sounds like you really did not want to go anyway! Gas prices are just going to get higher. Thanks to Jim our trike is comming along and we hope to ride with you during your MC event on the 17th of June! Hopefully we will be on three by then. You don't want to go to Florida this time of year anyway. You have already missed Bike Week and the only thing they have going on right now is heat. Glad we will get to see you and Ivy at the meeting anyway. Florida's loss is our gain.
Well that about says it all, and I can't say I'm not happy... We sat down and started totaling up what it would cost us in expenses to go down there, and it started out with at least $600.00 just in gas at these days prices..That doesn't include Motel rooms down and back and while we are there.. Then the food and entertainment and Party favors, I could go on and on..Finally the club decided that not enough members wanted to go so it is off..Yee Haa!! Maybe next year, if the gas prices come down..I don't mind local runs but those long distance runs are off for a while..See everyone at the meeting on Saturday if the creek don't rise and the good lord is willing..Been working on our Trike for a while now..Just about ready for the summer..Got new parts...Ready to rock..MB out.....
