Fay, when it comes to fried pies, it is every man (and woman) for himself. That is what you get for sneaking off to eat and not inviting us. Here Dale I though we were going to have to wait 2 weeks for lunch and we find out you guys are sneaking in meals. I hope if you try it again, they have fried fruit pies, but the fruit is prunes. That should make you a "regular" customer.

Don, if you will let me know what kind of saw blades you need, I am going to the city the first of the week and will be glad to pick some up for you. I can also pick you up a new set of eyes at Osco if you want me too. They have a pretty good selection there and some really nice colors too. Hell getting old isn't it? Maybe you should go into the business of fabricating fenders for trikes. You should have about all the possibilities covered by now. I have a real nice set of fiberglass fenders that might work for you. They are curved, flat and rounded all at the same time. That way if you decide you don't like them one way, you can just turn them around without having to remake them. Be kind of tough to weld on though. Going down to Russel's today to see how he is coming with his trike. He should be at the point where he is ready to do some serious building. Maybe one of these days it will warm up enough to think about riding. We had a really nice couple come down from the Lake of the Ozarks area yesterday. They left about 5 pm headed home. Bet they had a cool ride. Really nice people though. Think they might be joining OMT also. Our numbers just keep growing

Damm it sucks getting old an wishy washy.seemes like im never satisyfied with anything. going to be fun trying to weld tmorrow with these glasses even if i can find my trike. later.. Don

Don't know what is in your coffee, but pass me a cup. I have to go up north to pick up a couple of trikes pretty soon. I hope my trip is a little less eventful than the one you are describing. I think it will be quite an adventure just figuring out how to pay for the gas. Blacksheep, you can't start your own chapter. Marie had her hands full just keeping OMT straight. Remember, when it comes to officer's duties, we had her first and we ain't given her up. I got to get back to the shop.

Good, Morning Test. Its another nasty day here in Rolla. I want to work on trike stuff, But its too damp under the tree. So I am going to have to do inside stuff. I have plenty to do, but it is no fun doing things you have to do, instead of things you want to do. I do have to go to town and buy a new refigerator. The old one in the basement quit. Needs a new timer, Costs $67.00 pus tax. Thing is over 30 years old and don't do that well anyway, so I will put that $67.00 in to the price of a new one. Sometimes it seems that I got a lot of trouble, but you know God always takes care of me. I don't always get what I want, but God always fills my needs. Well I better get out of reverend mode before you folks start passing the offering plate.  How about them California trikes?  HEE! HEE! I am glad you ask.

Well the trikes from California were 100 miles west of Amarillo Tx at 0745 this morning. The night was pretty uneventful, well there was the stuck accelerator coming off the mountain on US 70 between Las Cruces and White Sands Nm. I understand speeds in excess of 85 MPH were reached, however they did get it stopped before having to turn onto I-40 at Santa Rosa, Nm. I always have to stay home and miss all the fun.

As things are going I have almost enough family members to start my own chapter up here in Rolla. Now if I can just get a few more trikes built, and recruite a couple of inlaws (or outlaws) I can start my very own chapter and provide each of them with their own trike. All it takes is money. Think of it, I could be the Grand Poopa of my very own chapter. The Blacksheep Squadron of Rolla, Missouri. (Man talk about delusions of grandeur.) I don't gonna mow no lawn, I am the GRAND POOPA. HEE! HEE!  I think I am already mad with power!! Rally Trikers!!! WE RIDE!! No more lawn mowing, no more pot hole patching, no more burning up signal light wires, (we don't need no signal lights) no more broken belts, (Except on Harleys) no more digging in flowed beds, RIDE, RIDE, RIDE!!! WOW WHEEE! Whats in that coffee anyway????

RIDE ON!!   Baa Baaa for now, Blacksheep

Nice to know there is life after mowing (smile). Actually the broken belt didn't slow me down too much thanks to the backup mower. Good thing too as no one in town had the belt I needed and I had to order one.

Thanks to BlackSheep and Marie's investments, it sounds like Rolla is going to start rivaling Ava as having the most trikes per capita of any town in the US. That is if he ever gets them all home in one piece.

I saw a lot of black smoke over in the east yesterday. I thought is was a saw mill burning but I guess it was just MB's wiring. There is nothing in the world worse than the smell of wires burning. (hint - put a 30 amp circuit breaker on the main lead to your ignition switch and you won't get that smell) Have some of Ivy's great pie and rest a spell.

Paw is still out digging flower beds. I think they are going to have a new show on the Discovery Channel - "The Great Flower Bed Dig Off". Paw is going to be in charge of it. Well actually, Sherri is going to be in charge. You don't think that Paw is digging all those flower beds because he likes flowers do you?

Russel and Sharmin are always busy. Every day I tell myself I am going down tonight to see how they are doing but Russel gets home about couch:30 and my couch hates it when it doesn't get enough attention. I see Michael and Jessica out in the yard playing every time I go by, so I know I am not the only one glad to see spring, and they don't have to do the mowing either.

Dick and Fay are out galavanting all over the country getting things together for their new camper and truck. They don't seem to realize that camping season is going to be over before they get a chance to use them. All that work and I have a perfectly good tent that I am not using. They could have thrown it on the back of the Ranger and been all set.

Tom and Lnda are having a three-day marathon garage sale. Well actually Tom is conducting business in his bass boat while Linda minds the store. Like a man that has his priorities straight. Hope Tom realizes that Linda is selling all the fishing tackle he doesn't have with him.

Dale and Barb are out repaving every road in the state of Missouri in case we have a ride on them. I noticed that they are doing a marvelous job on Hwy 5 between Ava and Mansfield. They must be getting it ready for the next meeting at Cajon Joe's in Mansfield. Amazing what a guy will do for one of those fried apple pies.

Ol' Jim is busy trying to keep all his cars running. He has to dream up places to go so that he can get some miles on each of them. Do you realize that he owns 3 Cadillacs, an El Camino, two trikes, an airplane that doubles as a car, two-ultra-light air planes and three riding mowers and lives on a lot that is 50 X 150 feet. I think he had to sell his bed recently because he didn't have room for it.

Don Hodges is busy building his ultimate trike. Well, it was yesterday but if I know him, he has it completely disassembled today and it starting over becaue he didn't like the way it looked. If Henry Ford had been as paticular as Don, we would still be waiting on the Model "A".  If he were to place a price on it that reflects the value of the time he has invested, none of us could afford it. We couldn't afford it if we pooled all our money and I can kick in 32 cents.

Not sure what everyone else is doing but if I can talk 'Ol Jim into loaning me one of his ultralights, I can drop in and see everyone. Of course, since I have never flown one, "drop in" might take on new meaning. Keep your eye on the clouds. There might be more than rain coming out of them.

Well I spoke too soon..I had eveything working perfect until I disturbed some wires in that mess I have under the nose, and all of a sudden the smoke came boiling out from under and a hot wire fryed part of my electrical system..Just the turn signals don't work now..I keep popping 30 amp fuses..Got frustrated, so I started working on my other trikes motor..I put the exhaust system together, 4 singles, I know she is going to sound good..  Rode down town yesterday on my Harley and got its first inspection sticker..I only have 2600 miles on it and its two years old.. It would be a lot more than that, if I rode it everywhere I've been last year..Oh well I have 2 more years of 2 wheel riding pleasure, I just hope my body holds up that long..I might need to hurry up on my 2nd trike, it looks like I'm headed that way fast..Dale, stop by some time..My shop is finished and looking good..I'm putting up my TRIKER ALLEY sign over the door, and my HARLEY DAVIDSON DR. sign on the corner of the back porch..That is my circle drive..Maybe you can shine some light on how you guys wired up the turn signals..Call first ,I'm a pretty busy guy sometimes..Then sometimes I can't even get off the couch..Just depends on my sugar level that day.. right now I' doing good..134 this morning..Thats good for me..usually I'm over 200 which isn't good..I just have to keep busy..Stay well everyone..MB out.

I'm sure glad Fay put that period in.

I plan on doing some riding, if this weather ever clears up a bit. I am a fair weather rider. I sure hope nothing breaks today. Haven't heard from Jake and David to day. Hope they are not in jail some place. If they are they is in a hurt. Last thing I heard was they were out there loaded up, had all the paperwork in hand an coming home. I sure am antsy want to see what I bought. ( at least I think I want to see it ) I think they also went around the neighborhood collecting stuff from all the neighbors. Them people out in California will learn to tie things down. HEE! HEE!

Later, Baa Baaa for now, Blacksheep

TESTS  ??   WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING TESTS.. Hi Yall,  Well I guess I could take offense to not having anything good to say about me, but I won't because I know where it is coming from and I know where he lives. DALE, ha ha..  We haven't fallen off the planet yet..I have been steady at it for the past couple weeks , trying to get all the new parts and toys installed on our trike..I pulled off the rear wheels, adjusted the brakes, checked for leaks, none, bled system, excellent now...We be stopping now..Finally got the electric fuel pump mounted and hooked up right..I had it mounted in a bad place first, then I moved it and it works great..Installed the damper shock on the forks, test rode it and man you would think you were on another planet by the improvement in the handling..I've never rode a bike or trike that handles this good now..I'm stoked about it..I'm sure Ivy will like it too..Now if I could figure out how to teach her how to get reverse, we would have it made..I'm taking the old windshield to the glass maker and have him cut me out one out of LEXANE..That stuff is bulletproof..My old windshield is that thin plex a glass and it was broken before I took it off the trailer last year..I've also put some different lights on her..Last year I went to electronic ignition but I didn't change the coil..Now I have a 40,000 volt coil on there and it makes all the difference in the world..Seems like it has more power, especially on top end..Well I'm about done with all the improvements so now we can enjoy the full summer we have planned..You guys Be Cool,  we will be seeing yall soon..Some sooner than others , DALE...I might just come up to see you soon..If I can get a break in the work around here..MOONBEAR over and out....

I will let all of you come up and help me. I just bought two trikes on ebay, and sent Jake and David out to California get them. This morning they burned out an axle on the trailer in Wilcox , Az. Had it chained up and went on to Tucson and had a new axle put on. Last call I had was from Indio, Ca. about 19:30 this evening. Nothing more had broke. (at that time) Got home and didn't see the daughters car out front.  Seems like it quit on her. Guess I'll fix it tomorrow. Its a Jimmy and it just died dead. Sounds like the rotor, a common problem with general motors. So I will have two VW trikes that have been sitting for 9 years to get going. I have a Subaru Brat I am trying to trike out, and two more Subarus I want to trike out. (I hope my neighbors don't get tired of having a REDNECK next door.) I don't even know where I'm going to put all the stuff. I need me a little place out of town. a couple of acres of land with a nice shop building on it.That Marie thinks it should have a house on it too. Now who ever heard of such a thing. Women!! Anyway with all the things I have going on I don't have time to get on the forum. But I sure wish everyone else would get on here, cause I like reading the posts. Well I guess thats about all the news from Burgher Dr. In case I don't get back on here for a while you all have a Merry Christmas.     Baa Baaa for now, Blacksheep

I would love to talk about Dick and Fay's alternator but that is a subject that doesn't charge me up. As a matter of fact, it doesn't charge up much of anything now. Bear must be in deep hybernation or Ivy has pulled his plug. Paw is out making flower beds for Sherri and I was out mowing until I threw a belt on the mower and it is now down until I get to town to get a replacement. I'll about bet the grass quits growing until I get back with it. 'Ol Jim stopped in for a few minutes this morning. He is back home now and had bought another Caddy. That makes 3 now. Wonder if I can get some stock in GM? Don Hodges is busy building his new trike and I am not sure where everyone else is. Don't we have a meeting or something coming up? Need something to stir people up.

Dale, not only is everyone failing the test, they aren't even coming to class. How do they think we are all ever going to graduate from the 3rd grade together if they don't do some cyphering? Sheese, I think I will go out to the outhouse and see if I can find anything to buy in the Sears catalog.

This is a test, this is only a test. If it had been an actual emergency, there would have been no one here to read it anyway. Where did everyone go????
