Hey Bear, Glad you got all the gremilins worked out. Ain't triking fun!!!! Just remember the old saying "keep the rubber side down" only works if the rubber is on the trike. Good luck with the shake down cruise. Glad you are back on three.
HAL LE LU YA, The blue Dragon rides again..Well after everything I had to do to her to get it right, I think I'm making progress..After I dropped that wheel I've had to tear that side all the way down to the brakes..When the hub came off, a little white rock fell out..Thats what was grinding and making a noise in the hub.. I have an adapter plate on the outside of the hub that takes a GM pattern..All of the studs had worked their way out and everytime I tried to put the wheel on they would drop back inside just far enough that you couldn't get a lug on them..I finally got out my air gun and took the plate off..I hammered all the studs back in and then I got serious,..I got out my mig welder and I put a bead on each of the 5 studs on the back side of the plate..Worked like a charm..Got the wheel back on and torqued down to 90 ft. lbs each..Dropped the jack and away we go..I still had a problem with one set of lights on the front, but with a lot of tracing and fishing through a nightmare of wiring I finally figured it out and now they work like they are supposed to..We are now officially out of excuses not to go on a run..We are ready..We are going on a short one tomorrow, maybe down to Thayer, Mo., just to get any more bugs out that might be lurking underneath that blue shell..I'm burning white sage all around it and hanging new bells tomorrow before we go on our ride..Hope it works..Will keep you updated after the test shakedown tomorrow..MB out.evileye:
