Moonbear, you see that you take good care of Ivy.  We missed you guys at the meeting. I had to use my knuckles on the table at one time to quiet down some chatter while Dick was trying to talk...knuckles aren't as intimidating as that big gavel you bring. (smile)

Ivy, you need to remember you're not 20 years old anymore. In spite of how health-conscious you are and how well you watch what you guys eat, that ole body won't do what it used to do.  I know, I used to help Blacksheep lift car engines up or down out of the back of pickups, and 80 lb bales of hay up into the loft of the barn.  But there came a time when I said, Hey, I'm not doing that any more...or rather, I can't do that any more.  We love you, gal.  Take care of that back and get well soon.

Marie

Bear - Sorry to hear about Ivy's back. You guys are about due for some good luck. You missed a great meeting. Was nice to see everyone and Paw left his tool box at home so he didn't have to worry about Fay trying to complete her set of wrenches. Paw - you would have thought that she would have known that your 9/16 wrench wasn't going to work on her VW trike. Maybe she is planning on sticking it in her spokes, like we used to do on bicycles, to make it sound like our motor was running. Maybe for a birthday present we ought to get her a whole deck of playing cards. Wonder if that is how "Bicycle" playing cards got their name?

WELL IT NEVER FAILS..We were all ready for the meeting today, but IVY could not get out of bed..Her back had gone out on her, because yesterday we were cleaning the air-conditioner from the bedroom which is up in our loft..While we were trying to get it back up the stairs, she pulled too hard on it and oopps, there goes the back muscles..I was trying to hold the weight from sliding back down the stairs and she was pulling from the top..We finally got it up and into the window, but by then she had already done the damage to her back..So today I am playing Nurse, cook, dish washer, baby sitter, for dogs, Daddy...Well after last weekend and the trike being down now,(needs O rings, maybe main seal), and now this, we are afraid to move out of the house, for fear of what else could go wrong..We even had to miss the parade on Friday, for personal reasons...Will let you know when we are alive again..MB out.
