Dale - That's the problem with the world today. All the kids grow up thinking they have to set their sites really high or they will disappoint their parents and grand parents. I grew up thinking I had to be a fireman because my parents wanted me to make a difference in the world. They never took into consideration that all I really wanted out of life was to be a really good arsonist and without arsonist the world would need a lot less firemen. My parents never took the time to look at the bigger picture. I could make a difference and still do what I enjoyed doing, starting fires, not putting them out. I'll bet we could take little Chandler on one bat swatting expedition with us and he would be hooked for life. Sure, it's fun to swat an elephant but how many elephants can you swat in one day? Your game bag fills up pretty fast. With bats there is a never ending supply and you can swat them all day and still have bats left that need swatting. Now that is job security and, with our troubled economy, job security is really important. Little Chandler could very well be the future of our industry. Good bat swatters are in short supply and there is a never ending supply of ol' bats.

Thanks - we're pretty proud of them.  I don't know how Toby feels about Chandler (Bubba) being a caveboy though.  I think you may have to give that scholarship to another deserving boy.  Thanks for the thought though.  Chandler looks at the elk head and says "bang, bang" - I think he's into bigger game than us little ole' bat girls!  We saw a huge buck cross the 142 between Thayer and Alton -- huge!!!!

Dale - The reason Rosie is being nice is she just found out her Grandson is a future caveboy. As soon as he gets old enough, I am going to get him a job with Orkin. They have a great tuition plan. Will take him a long way in this old world. I think if we pull a full strings, we can get him in Orkin's Bat Eradication Program. Glad to see you are back. Hndg and I have geen trying to keep the ol' bats under control but it will be a lot easier now that we have you and the master touch on that club.
