It's so quiet in this house this afternoon! I sent Rachael a message asking for them to turn around and come back - she hasn't answered me yet. The cat has finally come out of hiding - he's all over Cleon like glue. Chris - truer words were never spoken -- as he's getting older it's getting harder to be far away! Dale - thanks for the offer, but I don't think gramma by osmosis is good enough! Yours are all at the ages where they cost $$$$!!!
The good part about being a grandma is that you can give them back when they are cranky, and if you want to go somewhere you don't have to find a sitter. The bad part is you don't always get to see them when you want to. Grandparenting does suck sometimes, especially long distance grandparenting.
The kids just left for their home - we'll miss them bunches!!!!! The dogs and cat will be glad to be kidless again, but gramma is sad ....!!!! Looking forward to getting together tomorrow - see ya all then!
