Had a great time at the meeting. Sorry I had to leave so soon but had to take care of my parents and granddaughter. Sometimes I am not sure which one is the kid and which is the adult or if I am coming or going but oh well least I am able to help my son and pay back a little of what my parents have done for me over the years. For the next two weeks I will have two grandchildren with me. (One of these days I may learn that word "No" but it always seems to get misplaced when I need to use it the most.) I can't wait to get my trike all fixed up and be able to be in the wind again!!!
Allen- Dale left some pretty big shoes to fill but I know you are up to the task. The hardest job you are going to have is keeping Rosie, Fern, and the rest of the ol' bats in line. There are times I think they are a bunch of ol' hens instead of ol' bats. They never seem to get tired of cackling. We really need to get Ron to read the minutes of the last meeting more often though. Maybe we could just tape them and have them running in the background during the rest of the meeting. We could even get them made into a sound bite and post them on the web site so everyone could listen to them at home. Heartfelt thanks to the old officers and thanks for being there to the new. Special thanks to Jack and Denise for being the ever graceful hosts. OMT contunues to be the glowing star of BTW.This has not been a paid political announcement.
We had a great time (as usual) - sorry I was such a bad girl during the meeting - but really it was Tom and Linda getting me into trouble. I promise I'll behave at the next meeting! But we'll have to be separated from the Semro's!!!!
Thanks to all who came to our house for the meeting. What a wonderful time we had! It was a feast fit for a king as usual. Of course after all the guys left, I had to get a manure shovel from the barn. The s--- was pretty deep in my kitchen. Already looking forward to next month at Jim and Lady's house.
