Dale - No birthday present from Jack and no sleep. No wonder Granny is grumpy. I thought, at first, it might be a mid-life thing but we all know that had to happen about 50 years ago. Rosie not having a comment has to be a scientific first. She is usually faster on the draw than Wyatt Earp. She's actually pretty sharp for an ol' bat just out of hybernation. Guess the rest of the ol' bats have settled in for a long winter's nap. Just two ol' bats stirring. Good thing all the bugs are hybernating too. I could have sworn that I saw a couple of ol' bats yesterday at Taco Bell's drive up window in the Batmobile.  Does Taco Bell really have La Cooka Rachas on the half shell?

I gotta know. Which one of you ol' bats is responsible for all the ice and snow we have coming. It has to be one of you trying to stretch your hybernation out as long as you can. That Ol' Granny Bat must still be in shock from the Birthday present that Jack gave her. I know she isn't hybernating or we would be hearing her snore. Rattles all the windows in our house and we are 20 miles away. Rosie doesn't snore but when she inhales Bull Shoals drops three feet and the rest of you ol' bats remind me of a drum and bugle corp.
