OK, here is the rest of the story..Ivy has arrived in Virginia at her friends moms house..Things are kind of bleek there, with her mom dying and she knows it..It could be 2 days or 2 weeks or 2 months, they can't say for sure..She's a pretty fiesty little old lady, from old Germany..She survived the holicaust, the 2nd world war, the depression, the recession and everything that has happened in the past 80 years on this planet..She now owns a beautiful horse farm, with several high dollar horses and a beautiful home..She is not going to die a pauper, for sure..Ivy thinks she might will us one of the horses, but I don't think we can afford to take care of a pure bred horse..Not to mention all the work, the exercising , grooming, feed, we have plenty of water, so thats no problem..It would take time away from my Trike building projects..NOPE, we can't have that..We'll just have to sell it and buy a bigger, faster, meaner,Trike..Ha ha ha..I'm lucky she doesn't read this.. Better not count my chickens before they hatch, in this case a horse..Well my brother has come and gone again, but while he was here we finally got the old transmission out of his trike..Now its clean up and spot painting , before I put new trans mounts in and the new tranny..Then its the engine, and all the wiring..Then there are a million other little things to repair or improve on..I still need to find time to finish up my blue dragon..I'm just too busy for one person..No wonder I hurt all the time..I need a clone, maybe 2..And I won't even start about the heat..Love and hugs to yall..moonbear out..
Thursday Morning Ivy is leaving out of here to go back to Virginia, to take care of her 2nd Mom who is suffering from brain cancer..She is losing touch with reality, and needs constant care..She will be gone up to 2 weeks, so I have no idea what I will be doing while she is gone..Maybe now I can get caught up on my Trike duties and get our ride back on the road..I've been waiting for parts..I ordered new tubes and they only sent 7..I counted them 10 times before I made the oops call to get the last one..They charged me for it and I need it..nuff said..I also ordered an oil crankcase ventilation kit, that is supposed to give it more horses and take the pressure off the seals on the tubes and all the gaskets..I'm also putting a new oil plug drain kit in..The only thing that won't be new in this motor after I'm through, will be the main seal on the crank..If I have to take it all the way down for that , then it is getting a big bore kit and dual carbs..I'm tired of just going fast..I want to fly..I'm about ready to put an automatic in there too.. My brother will be visiting tonight and we are going to be doing some work on his trike while he is here..I wish we could get it up and running, but I'm afraid it needs too much work for just a day..It sure is pretty though..I'll post some pictures when it gets a little farther along.
