'Live' possums are really rare round our house. I think that would make them pretty exotic. Now to make them really good, involves a big crock pot and some taters with a sprinkling of basil. Maybe that would be a good fundraiser at the trike show. A big bowl of possum stew with a side of deep fried bat wings. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.What do you think Dale. Got room on your trike for a crock pot?
Are 'possums exotic? I thought they were farm animals to keep the chicken populations in check? Kind of like what came first the chicken or the egg???? Right - Linda??? Hound-dogs on the hand are exotic "aminals"!!! Be mighty nice for you to bring the old boy with you, Jim - we don't get to see him enough! Are you going to allow the use of exotic animals to convince people to vote for your trike? If you are, I may bring along ol' Hndg. No one can resist an affectionate little puppy with those big sad eyes. Besides that. he would probably think that baby opposums were road kill on the hoof. Maybe along with the trike show you could have a petting zoo. I think Rosie and Cleon's new trike should have a mascot anyway. Anyone got any suggestions that would be fitting for the "Blue Storm"?
There will be a trike/bike show after the Ozark Road Hog meeting on April 3rd. Meeting @ 10 am (come at 9:30 to eat) Ryan's Buffet - show to follow @ 12 - Country Mart on the corner of Route 63 and Broadway!!! Oh - it's all happening in West Plains!!!
