Now, you gals need to be careful what you say...Rosie, did you mean "you lay the ground work for them" or "you lay on the ground for them"????  ha ha.

We've been keeping a fan blowing on that ole Blacksheep (blowing that hot air) and plenty of ice water, and I make sure he stops sometime to eat.  He's been working hard every day under a tarp he strung up for shade, trying to get one of those trikes he had hauled home from California up and running in time for Trike Week.  He's had some trouble getting that trike to cooperate, but when he finally got it ready to try to start the engine, it fired up and sounds good!  (It had been sitting in a carport for nine years.)  He's had some help from David and Jake, but mostly he's worked alone. I still got to upholster the seats (no, I'm not getting gel seats. I don't care who wants to feel them, we can't afford them.)

He's taking a day off tomorrow to go with me to the Rolla Rally. Going to try to make it in the parade around town, and one of the Poker runs.  Planning to take some pictures and pass out a lot of Trike Week flyers and BTW apps and our personal contact BTW cards.  Hope to get some names, etc., in return.  It's gonna be a hot day.  I bought some powerful sunscreen today; I'm supposed to avoid excessive exposure to the sun.

Have a good day, and stay cool if you can.

I'm sure you're right, Faye.  Well - we're gonna have to do something about that!  If anyone deserves a gel seat, it's Barb - having to put up with Dale!

How's the trike progressing?  Cleon said it's lookin' good!  Keep Dick out there working on it - I do feel sorry for him in this heat.  Hope u got the fan blowing on him.  Keep him hydrated, too!  I found u can get more work outta those men if you lay the ground work for them.  Hahaha.

I took the kids to Silver Dollar City yesterday - HOT, HOT!  From West Plains to Shoals Bend is 81 miles - but it's 81 miles of up, down and around!  I didn't need to go on the the roller coaster after being on 160 west!  Haha.  I don't know how it's gonna be pulling a fifth wheel with a cargo trailer, too.  I think I'll need a tranquilizer for the trip!

Hey Dale - I hope you ordered Barb a gel pad, too.  Cleon says you probably didn't cause you don't want the guys checking out her seat.
