Thats just the point, there is nothing going on here except pain and suffering..I haven't been able to eat a decent meal since my surgery..(ORAL SURGERY)..During the Trike week I was eating things through a straw for a while..Everything had to go thru the blender before it could go through me..Not good..I'm getting a little better now but I'm still weak from the infection I had after the surgery..Felt like I was going to die of starvation there for a while..Ivy says its because I wasn't getting that full feeling that you get after chewing your food..She's probably right, she usually is..Did I mention the HEAT..I don't do well in hot, humid weather..The last time I was in this kind of heat and humidity was when I was in Vietnam..I was only 18 then and I was in the best health of my life, and it was hard for me to adjust to it..Now I'm pushing 60 and I just can't get out in it like I used to..I'm afraid it will bring back the Malaria I had when I was over there..I'm told that once you've had it, it can come back and get you in later life..I've already had a couple of relapses in past years, I don't want to go through that again for nothing..You know that they wouldn't classify me as 100% disabled if there wasn't something wrong with me..They don't give that award for stumping your toe, or scraping your knee..You have to really be sick to get that honor..I'm just surprised I've lasted this long.. As far as the Trike is concerned, it is up on blocks in my garage waiting for me to get strong enough to get out there and put all the new parts on her that I have already got..I've just got too much to do and not enough energy to do it.Maybe next year will be better.. As far as the Motor Roast goes..I came up with the idea but I gave it to the OMT..Even if I'm not there to put it on, I'm sure with all the smart people we have in the chapter, that someone can figure out how to run an engine roast..If you need any help with planning it, then call me at home and I will walk you through it..Its not hard, just wait until the last day of the event to do it, and sell time slots at whatever you decide to charge per slot..Closest to the time slot of the shut down, WINS.. ..The time starts when you pull the oil plug after the engine is running full throttle.. Have fun with it, if I can't make it by then..I'm trying to get better, really I am..I don't want all you people having all the fun, I want to be out there too..Down but not out,yet..Moonbear out..
