I think we should stay with the campground we have. Route 66 has their Trike In in the spring and OMT has their's in the fall. Plently of time for us old timers to forget what the campground looks like. Besides, it is pretty centrally located for both chapters to attend each other's trike meet. Going to be hard to find another campground that is close to everything we have in Mountain Grove, places to eat, motels, Walmart amd a weather-proof meeting room. The next closest Walmart is in Ava and there is only one motel here which may be full and West Plains which is in the Road Hogs back yard. Why mess with a good thing and our business is appreciated at the Missouri Campground? If we want to ride in a different direction, we can ride up to Hartville or up Route 63 toward Houston. Plenty of options.

There were only 10 members show up for the meeting today. There was a suggestion made that we change the location of the OMT Trike In because Route 66 is having their Trike in at the Missouri Camp ground in Mt. Grove. We felt that 2 Trike Ins should not be held at the same place because everything would be the same. Rides etc. Since that camp ground is actually in Route 66's area and their trike in is just around the corner we decided to try and find another camp ground. Denise said Rosie had told her about Chipmunk Crossing and I said that it was a nice one. I volunteered Larry and I to check on all the details and post them on this website so everyone could see what they think. Everyone else said they would look around and would post any findings. So if any member out there knows of one please post the details. Due to the fact that our Trike in is on a holiday weekend (labor day)we need to make a decision by next meeting so we can book ahead.
We also decided to send Randy and Betty a sympathy card because they had to sell their trike.
Everything else at the meeting was about the same except that while we had the chance we voted on a few officer changes. Here's what we voted.
