Ooops! Sorry Dale, didn't mean to leave you out when commending a job well done. I know you are doing a great job, but Gee, you didn't send me a birthday card! (Just kidding.) Yeah, that Blacksheep has his geetar box tuned just fine (as far as I know, which isn't much about geetars). But he's got some of that ole arthritis in his fingers and they aren't working like they used to...can't bend them around that neck too good. Been workin' them too hard bending steel and twisting bolts, etc. We'll see you there at Gravois Mills. Lookin' forward to a good time.
HEY MARIE, WHAT ABOUT ME. I HAVE BEEN LEADING THE RIDES & WATCHED OUT FOR EVERYONES SAFETY, DO YA THINK ANYONE EVER COMMENDS ME FOR A GOOD JOB DONE. JUST KIDDIN MARIE. HOPE TO SEE YOU & YOURS AT THE STATE TRIKIN. DOES BLACKSHEEP HAVE THE BOX TUNED UP. CATCH YA LATER, WE MISS YA'LL, DALE
Sue, I've been meaning to thank you for the card you sent me some weeks ago when I was down sick again, and the nice Birthday card you sent recently. Thank you so much for choosing such nice cards. It really does feel good to receive them. And if you send out hundreds over the year, and nobody ever says "thanks", just remember...they are appreciated even if nobody takes time to tell you so. Like I told you before, you have a very important job in OMT.
We talk about building good relations with the communities we live in or plan events in, but your job is helping to maintain good relations within our own "community" of brother/sisterhood within BTW and OMT. The Sunshine position is an important, though mostly unrecognized position. You are very quietly doing a great job.
Thanks again, Marie
P.S. NOW, DON'T NOBODY GO TAKING OFFENSE AT THIS...I am NOT implying that other people don't say thanks to Sue. I have no idea what other people do or don't do. I know they show appreciation at the meetings. This is NOT a slam against anyone. It IS a personal and public thank you to Sue.
