Poor Ol' Dick just slaving away so the Ol' Cherokee Bat can turn his hard money into smoke. Ain't no wonder he threw her under he train during that bank robbery.

Dale - I don't think Fay will be going to the bank with Dick any time soon. I think she is afraid he will volunteer her for something else!

Fay was at the Route 66 meeting. I was amazed to see her still alive and well. Perhaps the news story I read wasn't accurate or perhaps the robber was using a two-shot derringer. At any rate, she has vowed to use the drive-up window at the bank from now on.

Damn Fay, and I thought the mowing season was about over for this year. Guess as long as you keep using the drive-up window,   you'll be alright.

A hooded robber burst into an Ava bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash.

On his way out the door, a brave customer grabbed the hood and pulled it off, revealing the robbers face.

The robber shot the customer without a moment's hesitation.

He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also.

Everyone in the bank, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in silence.

The robber yelled, " Well, did anyone else see my face?"

There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly too afraid to speak.

Then, one old guy named Dick Luhmann tentatively raised his hand and said, "My wife got a pretty good look at you..."
