Just for clarification at the state meeting the reason we (me included ) were giving food awayi wsy the portions were tremendous. My plate of onion rings could have fed a small nation and for the record, the food was delicious. Lady
I just made throw together hamburger Chili and everyone here seems to like it except for what happens later. Some of that Good Old Boy type food for a cold day.
I don't think you would like KimChi, that is a Vietnamese dish, kinda like waste in Crook, but a favorate in the Nam. Smells like a dump too. Roasted roaches another favorate. They did have alot of food with the French influence, not my taste either, Fish by the Coast but some of their Rice dishes are great no matter what the meat might be, just don't ask. I make a Rice dish but could not name it and ever time I try and make it, everyone near the house, Leaves because they don't want to try it. Just a little of everything in it but all good clean food and sometime tastes good at least to me.

Larry, I agree with you 100%. If people are going to live in America they should support America. I really get tired of people talking about "their homeland". If it was so great there, they should still be there. We don't need them. The US in made up of a very diverse group of people but they all had one thing in common, this was now their home and they were proud to be here. It wasn't something that they were owed or something they were given, it was something they earned. I don't personally like Mexican food but it has nothing to do with the nationality of the people who make it but if someone else enjoys it and wants to support a fellow Amreican that happens to be selling it, I say more power to him. I was just pulling your leg about stopping at a Mexican restaraunt. I could care less where you or anyone else eats. I personally don't like Mexican, Chinese and although I have never eaten Vietnamese, I am sure I wouldn't like it either. I was rasied a poor boy, eating cornbread, beans and fried chicken and I guess I kind of acquired a liking for it.
Well, I'm a foodie, and I wasn't running late that I remember but I did stop at an American owned Mexican resturant (if you want to call it that) because they were said to have, good food there at a low price. Well they had neither, good price or good food. I was also told that were the meeting was, that they had HIGH prices and the food was just so, so. It looked pretty good to me but I notice there was a lot of giving the food away going on.
On the other thing, I am NOT against Mexicans, I am against ILLEGAL ALEINS of all types but I really don't like Illegals flying their flags ABOVE ours, singing OUR National Anthem in there languages with new words ADDed, telling me they have a right to do what they want. I am a Veteran and I don't get all the stuff they want. Where is my right to get a TOTALLY FREE education. Totally free medical and on and on with the right to free stuff. Why do I have to have a Drivers Lic and Ins. when they don't?
When I could work, I worked at ANY job to make money, Cleaning bird cages at a Parrakeet farm, Bucking Hay, I worked on a Horse ranch as a Pilot, ya know pile it here, pile it there. I planted trees side by side with Legal Mexican (Green Carders) in Rancho California. Good People and some friends, I worked for a Mexican American picking Watermelons ( I ate a bunch) and side by side with, You got it, Mexicans. I worked construction on Landscaping and home construction. The last place I worked I did work my way up to the Office (Purchaser) Industrial Supply. Oh, one of my Boss's was a Lady. Not back looking either but not a Blonde for sure.
Americans, English (Brits) Germans, Aussies, Canadians,Spanish, Italians, Mexicans and People from all over the world are Trikers.
Work Hard, stay legal and Ride Free on Three, no matter where your from or what you are. Trikers are from ALL nations or are welcome from ALL nations, just don't try and change my nation and try and fly your flag in my face.
Dale - I have an idea. Why not plan a ride for that day and you won't have to worry about people wanting to stop and eat Mexican food. Maybe you could ride up to Mexico (Missouri that is). I remember some people who were running late for the State Meeting in Rolla because they stopped to eat Mexican food on the way to a meeting that was being held in an American restaraunt. Not going to mention any names but they are the same ones who are for boycotting Mexican Restaraunts now (smile). Nice to know the rest of OMT has finally came around to our way of thinking.

Dale - I am with you. Boycotting Mexican Restaraunts has been a life-long ambition for me. One thing about it, the farmers won't have to worry about having computer chips put in their dogs and cats as long as there is a Mexican restaraunt nearby. They had better watch the next Burrito they get though. It might be glowing and sending out weird radio waves.
I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ANYONE EATS MEXICAN. DOG MEAT & BEANS ROLLED UP IN A PIECE OF DOUGH JUST DON'T TRIP MY TRIGGER. YA'LL TAKE CARE OF THOSE MEXICANS. I HEARD THAT NEXT WEEK IS NATIONAL EAT YOUR DOG WEEK.
Did you know that on May 1st it is called Gringo Day, And the mexicans are going to boycot all businesses that are owned by americans to prove they dont need us they are also closing all there restaurants and businesses. Up in Mountain Grove, Cozumels has a sign that says they will be closed. Just hope that all will not eat or buy any thing from a mexican owned business on May 5th which is their big day (Cinco De Mayo)
