Geesh, what do a couple of guys have to do to be appreciated around here. Dale and I have put a lot of time and effort into perfecting the S&C for our more challanged blonde members and see the thanks we get. You would think that anyone would welcome the opportunity to learn to multi-task and be able to step and chew at the same time and we get called names for our efforts. With the upcoming OMT Trike Meet, you know there is going to be plenty of food there and stepping and chewing will prove to be a very valuable talent as a person moves between all the delectable dishes that are offered. I guess we will have to assume that we have taken on a thankless task and while all the blondes are concentrating on one food source, we can move around and sample all the offerings. Cleon, us guys will just have to take care of devouring all that watermelon you bring. I think we are up to the task.
TOM AND LINDA - GLAD LINDA'S FEELING BETTER. LIKE HOUND-DOG SAYS THROW THAT VIDEO AWAY. THAT'S SOME REALLY GOOD ADVICE - I KNOW IT'S HARD TO FOR HER TO BELIEVE, BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH WORSE. WE LOVE YOU GUYS - AND ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT TRIKE-IN ---- THE OMT BASH OF THE YEAR! BEING TOGETHER WITH THE FAMILY IS THE BESTEST PART OF THE BASH! EVEN IF THAT FAMILY INCLUDES THOSE NEANDERTHALS (DALE AND JIM)! THOSE BAD BOYS JUST DON'T EVER GIVE UP - I GUESS THERE HAS TO BE A COUPLE OF BRATS IN EVERY FAMILY!
Hello Neighbor - Glad to hear that everyone is on the mend. I stopped by your place last night with a potential customer for a trike body and was glad to see that Linda's trike is being mended also. As bad as it was, everything could have been a lot worse. Guess OMT is continuing to live right. Must be something in the water, or in all the food we eat (smile). If there is any way I can help, I am just a stone's throw away and a stone should be pretty easy to find in these hills.Tell Linda that when it comes time for start walking again, Chris and Rosie have some new found talents in that department that they will be glad to share with her and Dale and I are always available to help out.
Hi neighbor Tom /Linda glad to hear your best girl is doing better. I was wondering how her leg was doing in this hot weather.I know how boring an hot a cast can be in hot weather.basacially they suck big time .I have had to put up with 3 of them. Tom tell Linda just to play like the accident was a bad movie an not rewind it an just throw it in the trash an forget about it. I found out it's best not to relive the past an make tmorrow a better day. Linda hang in there an have a great day tomorrow.HDG
Linda and I got a chance to talk to Bobby tonight, and every think is going ok. He got a family member to come and get him with a flat bed trailer. He went to the doc's yesterday and he said it his leg was looking very good. He goes back to the Doc on Monday and will be able to go back to work on Monday night at the meat packing house. The insurance adjuster call him today and said they will take care of all his medical bills and fix his trike.
Linda is doing better today and the swelling is going down in the upper part of her leg. The whole accident keeps running and rewinding in her head like a nightmare that won't go away.
We would like to, once again, thank everyone who has came and visited and those who have call to check on Linda's condition, and for the get well cards. It is overwhelming to know that we have such a great extended family with the BTW and especially our very own "OMT" Supper Friends. We are so thankful for all the Love and Compassion that has been willingly given to us. Please be careful out there and ride safely and let's us all ride together.
