I just received this flyer concerning the Fred Moore Memorial to be held in Cabool. I realize that most of you didn't know Fred but he was a long time (since in the 80s) BTW member and held the position as Missouri State Director for several years, hosting several of the first Missouri State Trike Meets at his home in Houston. These events were well attended by BTW members from several states and became known as the Cadillac Classic after Fred loaned one of his trikes to a non-rider who proceeded to ride it across a parking lot right into the side of a Cadillac. Due to family problems the last few years, Fred hasn't been in attendance at many events. Fred was also a Viet Nam Vet. I realize that this is the same day and time as the OMT meeting, which is also important since we will be discussing the OMT Trike Meet, but I also feel that it is important that we show our support and concern for our fellow members. Therefore, Lady and I will not be attending the meeting in order to attend the Memorial Service and would like to invite anyone else, who wants to, to ride with us.
