Jim I got the leaf blower running great what the problem was I still don't have a clue NOW it's time to call kennedy engerring for the adapter I think the li 2cycle is about 25 cc' It ought to be a screamer on my trike , whoo needs vw when you got 25 cc's behind pushing you. the jerk start also elimates the battery weight An I never like to ride after dark anyhow getting closer YEA right wheeres the cutting torch HDG
Don - Everyone likes to stop by and see if you are progressing on the trike or cutting it apart to start over again. With you, I never know if you are going to be using the welder or the cutting torch. I have heard of perfectionists, but you should get some kind of special award. I think the new trike is looking great just the way it is but everytime a truck goes by the house, headed for the scrap metal yard, I still have to check to see if your trike is in it, but I can about guarantee you that the motor from that leaf blower isn't going to work on the trike even if you do get the carb figured out. You could probably make an adapter to hook it up to that VW automatic but I think you might have a problem with the electric start. The key would be bigger than the motor.
