Larry, I have to agree with you. The weather forecast for this weekend doesn't sound too condusive to traveling any further than you have to. I hope the weather man is all wet (no pun intended). Doesn't look like it is going to warm up much anyway. Just hope we miss the snow like we did the ice.
I think the route 66 group will be a great addition to BTW and there is many in the group that I already know but as of this time, I will not go to the meetings until day light savings time. I for one do not travel a night unless there is a real need and sunday is probably going to be Ice or snow in Springfield.
So before anyone says thay have been snubbed by me and mine, it is not so.
Hate to see a "changing of the guard" in OMT. Especially going to miss the creative newsletters. Some of us guys may never get to be a centerfold again. I am sure some "new blood" will step up to the plate to fill the vacancies. This will be an excellent opportunity for new people to get involved and for the old-timers to take a well deserved break. What makes OMT and all of BTW work is knowing that we have family everywhere and making them all feel welcome. I hope that some of you will consider attending the Route 66 meeting Sunday, in Springfield, to welcome our new brothers and sisters to the BTW family.
