HEY, NOT A VERY NICE THING TO DO TO GEORGE, BUYING COMPETITION. THE POOR GUY THOUGHT HE HAD IT MADE. WE HAD THREE BIG DEAD OAK TREES CUT DOWN IN THE YARD, SO I'VE BEEN SPLITTIN WOOD. SHOULD END UP WITH ABOUT 12 TO 15 RANK. SOME BLOCKS SO BIG, I HAD TO MOVE THE SPLITTER NEXT TO THE BLOCK TO GET IT ON THE SPLITTER. IT'S JUST A GREAT, GREAT REWARDING JOB. THE KIND A JOB EVERYONE LOOKS FORWARD TO. IT SUCKS. SOUNDS LIKE YA'LL HAD AN OKAY WEEKEND, NOW MAYBE NEXT WEEKEND, WE CAN GET BACK TO WHAT WE'RE SUPPOSE TO DO IN THIS LIFE, RIDE FOR FOOD.YA'LL BE THINKIN WHERE TO RIDE TO. CUweirdface

We're home - didn't buy a goat at the sale, but did buy one today at FarmFest in Springfield.  He'll be delivered in a couple weeks - a 6mo buck named Cosmo.  He sure is pretty - for a boy.  We went to Sedalia via Versailles - got tangled up in the AppleFest - just like at the 1st state trike in.  Looks like the campground in Gravois Mills is deserted - grass all grown up around the buildings, drive way is closed off.  
Hey Dale - the leaves were falling in Buffalo - Cleon had to pull over for the night -- woowoo!!!!!  I'm thinking I like October!  No wonder fall is Barb's favorite time of the year.biggrinbiggrin
Sounds like you guys are all work and no play!  Painting, putting up ceilings, hiding from the kids!  weirdface

Not much going on here. Richard and Greg came up from Little Rock to pick up the VW Fastback. The grandkids got a new game called Guitar Hero. PS2 game, so although it isn't very noisy music wise, the sound of them hitting the strumming button is about to drive me crazy. I guess after I finish here I'll go someplace where I can't hear it and read.

Good luck at the goat sale Rosie. Hope you get your ceiling done Judy.

THERE ISN'T ALOT GOING ON OVER HERE.  ALL WE HAVE BEEN DOING IS WORKING ON THE HOUSE.  WE JUST DO A LITTLE OF THIS AND A LITTLE OF THAT.  WE HAVE SET A GOAL TO HAVE THE CEILING DONE BY THE END OF THE MONTH.  WE ARE GOING OUT OF TOWN AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND I TOLD GARY THAT IF THE CEILING ISN'T DONE THEN WE CAN'T GO.  SO THE ONLY NEWS HERE IS NOTHING.  HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING FINE.

Congras on the little one to be. Not much going on here either.We were going to ride over to Alton today but Greg got an invite to play in a golf tourny so guess I get to stay home and paint. Have fun at the goat sale guys. Gina

GINA?  JIMMY JEFF?  CHRIS?  JUDY?  DALE?  ALLEN DALE?  LARRY?  FAY?  FERN?  TOM?  RON?  AL P?  ANYONE?
ROSIE?  - OH GLAD YOU GOT TO ME!  MY HUBBY'S DRAGGING ME OFF TO A GOAT SALE TOMORROW.  THAT'S ABOUT ALL HERE.  BEEN A PRETTY BORING WEEK THUS FAR.  EXCEPT THAT I GOT A CALL FROM THE "JUST MARRIED" COUPLE AND LOOKS LIKE I'M GONNA BE A MEMAW PROBABLY FOR MY BIRTHDAY.  MY NEW SON-IN-LAWS A QUICK WORKER - THEY'VE ONLY BEEN LEGAL FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS!  WILL FIND OUT FOR SURE NEXT WEEK - THE HOME TEST SAYS SO. 
WELL - HOPE ALL'S WELL IN OMT LAND.  SEE YA ALL SOMETIME.
