We just got an email from Cristi, Tom Dempsey's girl friend, and Tom passed away last Thursday. For those of you who didn't know Tom, he was from Branson and was very active in Freedom of the Road Riders as well as being a BTW member. Tom had just retired and was preparing to enjoy the rest of his life when he was bitten by a mosquito and acquired West Niles. He spent the last couple of years of his life in the hospital and a nursing home. A memorial ride is planned for Spring. Life is short. Live hard, love long and make every second count.
