Hate to hear that Ron is going to miss the trike meet. He called me yesterday when his motor wouldn't run and I gave him a couple of suggestions and he called back a few minutes later and said it was running again. Sorry to hear it blew up on him. I think we should nominate him for a "Hard Luck" trophy at Meramec. I think two motors in one year has to be some kind of record. If I were going to rent a car, I would figure out some way to tie the trike to the back of it. Would save a lot of miles. Hope to see everyone else today or tomorrow up at the cave.
TALKED TO RON A COUPLE A TIMES TODAY. HE HAD SOME TROUBLE THIS MORNIN WITH NO FIRE TO THE PLUGS. IT ENDED UP A BAD ROTOR IN THE DISTRIBUTOR. TALKED TONIGHT & HE BLEW ANOTHER ENGINE IN COLORADO. HE'S RENTING A CAR IN THE MORNIN, HEADIN HOME TO GET HIS TRUCK & TRAILER, THEN HEADED BACK TO GET THE TRIKE. HE JUST KEEPS ON KEEPIN ON. HE'S NOT DISCOURAGED, JUST THANKFULL FOR THE EXPERIENCE. GREAT ATTITUDE. I THINK I'LL GET ONE OF THOSE SOME TIME.
