WELL, OUR GRANDSON, CAM, FUMBLED THE BALL THE VERY 1ST PLAY OF THE GAME, BUT WE INTERCEPTED A PASS IN THE END ZONE TWO PLAYS LATER AND THE BOYS TOOK IT DOWN THE FIELD FOR A TD. WE BEAT EM 30 TO 0. ONE MORE WIN AND WE GO TO THE RAMS DOME FOR THE STATE CHAMPION SHIP GAME. THE NEXT GAME WITH TIPTON WILL BE A TOUGH ONE. WE BEAT THEM OUT LAST YEAR AND I'M SURE THEY'RE OUT FOR REVENGE. IT'S SURE FUN TO WATCH THE BOY PLAY
Dale - That is a very worthwhile reason to miss a meeting. Hope your Grandson kicked some butt. I couldn't make it to the meeting either. Didn't want to share my cold with anyone there. I did get to watch a re-run of the 1985 Bears/Green Bay game and got to watch the "Sweetness" in action one more time. Man that guy could play football. Come to think of it, that was about the last time I actually got to say I was proud to be a Bears fan.Great game even though I did know the ending score.
