Still here, just sleeping thru the heat..I don't know what the temp. has been where you are but we have been up in the upper 80's around here with no wind and 80% humidity..I've been trying to get the CV joints out of this old tranny that needs to come out of the body of my new trike. As soon as I can get the tranny out, then I can start putting the new one in with the beautiful fully chromed engine attached to it..Then it is wiring from end to end..I just know that this one is going to be a screamer.. The blue dragon trike is finally together, and ready for the parade next month..All I have to do is put the flags on her and go parading..I'm just worried about the engine getting too hot because I don't have the external oil cooler with fan mounted yet..I have the unit here, I just haven't installed it yet..Well it is busy, busy, busy, trying to get ahead, before we drop dead..Just kidding, hey I made a rhyme..Talk at ya later..moonbear out..
Hi Jim Im still cutting an pasting or changing things on my trike I begin to think I HATE building trikes, seemes that I can never satasify the ol boy Im working fore he shure is a hard A$$ to make happy. Mady he just needes a fried pie break, but there arent never any left when I get there, they say some ol triker from Ava just eat the last dozen for the day maby get there earlier next time like 3:am later Don H
Here me are. I couldn't sign in cause I couldn't remember me name and , and, and, oh yea me name and me password. I think I got it now. Now that I am signed in what? Ok here goes I am in a builders slump. I have a Subaru trike to finish, two VW trikes to re-build, One or both of them have to have the neck cut off and re-welded. One VW has the neck cracked at the steering head, and the other one has a sringer front end (Both have springers) but this one has a front end that reaches all the way to Ava if I point it in that direction. I don't think it is going to handle too good on these Missouri curves. I may go ahead and get it ready to lic as soon as the title comes back. The other trike has no title so I will have to take it throught the homebuilt process. I do have a notorized bill of sale on it. and may get a salvage title on it later on. So thats all I have to report from up here in the north country. Had a good rain yesterday, (no snow,) but it did cool off some. So Jim you asked for it, next time maybe you won't want to wake me up. Getting real tired of seeing the same old posts here everytime I drop in. Has everyone gotten camera shy or what? I know Paw is probably out digging in the flower gardens but ther rest of you could chime in from time to time.
