Sounds like things are looking up for the ladies of OMT. Might be at the expense of unexpected showers but looking up none the less. I hope that we get to see both your trikes at the next meeting. They will be welcome additions to our little family of hillbilly trikers, or should that be hillbilliette trikers. Way to go ladies.
Rosie,Glad you found the problem. Now if we get the parts Tuesday at Roy rogers to fix mine then we will be all set. Maybe we can ride our trikes to the meeting.
We think we've solved the electrical problem - Cleon wanted to replace the ignition, I wanted to take the nose off and trace wires, so we compromised and took the ignition out and found a bare wire there - fixed that and put it back together. I took the trike out and ran it with the headlights on and hit the brakes alot - no shut down! PHEW!!!!! And the running lights are now staying on - they didn't before - so we're figuring that evil bare wire was the culprit.
Hey, it started raining here as soon as I backed the trike out of the garage! So - anytime y'all want to ride in the rain - give me a call! I LOVE TO RIDE IN THE RAIN!!!!
