Dick, Since I was not able to attend the last OMT meeting, and am no longer doing the newsletter, so I do not have Fay's minutes, I am wondering if the September 17th meeting will include elections of officers for the coming year?
As you know by now, I and my family will not be at the OMT meeting because of the meeting planned to start a BTW chapter here in Rolla. We are sorry that the dates happened to conflict, but due to the schedules of some of the people who need to be here we could not make it any other date. We wanted to have it before the State Trike Reunion planned to start on the 30th.
If you are having elections at the OMT meeting, Carl and I and others here would like to vote by absentee ballot. According to the Chapter by-laws, we can only vote absentee for the Director position (I suggested at a recent meeting that an amendment be considered to change that to include other officer positions, but got no response.) I'm sure there are other OMT members who were not at the last meeting who need to be notified of the elections and reminded of the privilege of absentee voting for the Director position.
Not everyone has a computer or is able to attend the meetings. Maybe I am poking my nose into your's or Fay's business, but I wanted to know and want to be sure others who were not at the last meeting to know as well. Even though we are trying to start a new chapter here in the Rolla area, I am still a member of OMT and am interested in what's happening there.
