Hi Bear, I'm so sorry I didn't mention the Sargent of Arms. This was my first unofficial news letter and all I had to go by is the six past issues of the news letter that I have. Sargent of Arms is listed under the call to order spot and you wern't there. Dick called the meeting to order. I should have put something about why you wern't there but I didn't think about that. I was just worried about getting the letter out. At least I put you in the picture with the veterans. Not a very good job of it but I tried. I promise I won't forget again. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Good job Chris,  the newsletter has come a long way since we had it.I mean when Ivy did it..In the early days of OMT..Its funny to read some of the articles and especially the one with all the officers of the OMT listed..I guess they did away with the Sgt.@ arms post, since I don't make all the meetings, I could see how you could forget me..I'm not complaining its only an honorary position anyway..Its not like we are at war with another club and you need someone to protect the club..I could do that but I have a life..You guys seem to govern yourselves just fine without my nonsense..So if anyone wants to be the new Sgt. @ Arms, feel free to take it on..It doesn't get the respect it deserves anyway, so why bother any more..

Maybe someone else will make the meeting and be a loyal member with lots of money and lots of time to devote to the chapter..With the prices on gas any more I have to spend a small fortune everytime I go to a meeting..I can't trust that trike of mine to make it on a run without something breaking..The only reliable form of transportation I have that doesn't use that much gas is my Harley, and now I'm getting ready to sell it and buy a bigger one, maybe..Not feeling good about things right now..Maybe I'll just give it some time to settle down around here..but it never does..MB & Ivy out..blankstare:

Way to go Chris. Outstanding job. Your little creative touches are a welcome addition too. I am not sure who this Bungeeman character is but his wife sure is lucky to have him to do her riding in the rain. Thanks for all your efforts. I know that Marie left a hard act to follow but you seem to be up to the task. Thanks-

Jim

Chris, we just got our September newsletter. You did a great job! Congratulations.  It really looks good, the layout, the nice borders around the sponsor cards, the pictures (we appreciate the pic of the veterans), the nice write-up on the OMT Trike-in, and of course "The Adventures of Bungeeman". Haha. Keep up the good work.  And thanks for taking over for me.
