I know that God will bless me for my good deeds, thats more than I can say for the OMT..Why is it that when I post something on this forum, I get 50 people reading the post but not one of you makes a reply..I feel like I' just pissin in the wind..This Chapter is becoming a bunch of snobs..I'm tired of it, and you can have it..Moonbear out for good...
We took the last load over to Westplains today, tues., 13th..We had to go way out in the country and pick up this load that a woman had left over after her yard sale..lots of womans clothes..Went back to the Dollar Store and hooked up to the big trailer and hauled it over to the plains..We had help there this time so we didn't have to do much of the unloading. We had about 1/2 ton of womans ,mens and kids clothes, shoes, belts purses, knapsacks, school supplies, you name it we had it in that trailer..Not to mention about 500 lbs of canned goods, easy open cans, spam, luncheon meats, etc..After we were through unloading we took pictures of some of the piles they had there waiting for the 18 wheeler to get back from Louisiana, so they could fill it up and send it again..I'm not sure how many loads went down but we took 3 pick up trucks full, 2/ 10ft trailer loads, and 1 / 16 ft enclosed trailer..The OZARK ACTION said that we could stand down for now, they have enough stuff to help a lot of people if it need be..So we are officially done with the Donation Station in Alton..I can't thank everyone enough for their help in my little act of humanity..It will not go un-noticed at the end..Ivy deserves all the credit for getting so much donated..I just drove the truck and stupervised the loading and unloading..Now we are home relaxing and thinking about the next move..Maybe I will put my trike back together and go for a ride..I know as soon as I do get it together, it will rain..Whats the use??See you all soon..MB & IVY out..
