Thanks for saying all the things you said Marie..You and Carl have always been there with a kind word or a vote of confidence..You are the true spirit of America..It sure could use a lot more of that..I'm afraid the spirit of America is slowly fizzling out, whether it is from so much pain and suffering and dis-orginization, or what??Its a shame they don't teach that in school..I'm not mad about the Sgt @ Arms thing..I never was asked what I thought in any of the newsletters after Ivy let it go..So after a while I just figured it didn't matter..Then when I was left out of the official list of officers, I just figured they had a vote without me..Nobody tells me anything, anyway, so why should that be a surprise..I don't have any bad feelings for anybody that I can remember..So don't worry about this old coot..I've about shot my wad anyway..I'll be staying closer to the home front now..Lots of things to do..MB out..

Moonbear, Chris has apologized to you in two posts for leaving you out of the list of officers of OMT in the newsletter, but she is not the one who prepared and published that list.  That list of OMT Officers and Staff was in the August issue, the last one that I did. So the apology rightfully is coming from me. I don't know how I overlooked that position, because I think it is an important one, and you are definitely important to all of us. But I did leave it, and you, out of that list, and I sincerely apologize for that.

I know you are worn out from all those days working with the truckloads of aid for the Katrina victims. Your health is not the best and I know you are tired and you sound very depressed. Then when you come home you feel left out and forgotten by your friends in OMT, and that's my fault. Believe me, you were not forgotten. We kept up with what you were doing and were proud of you and proud to be your friend. I wish I could have been down there with you.

I hope you will accept my apology and know that we love you and respect you and all you have done, for OMT and for the survivors of Katrina.  You and Ivy are some of the best people we know.  I hope you will not get down on OMT, and especially on Chris, for this was not her doing.  It was my fault your position was left off the list of officers. It was not a deliberate oversight...just a stupid mistake. Please forgive me.
