"Thanks for the congratulations. We are kind of excited about it, hoping we will do a good job. The name Central Missouri Trikers was chosen by the majority of people there. There was a list of proposed names that were considered and that's what was voted in. I think Marie was the only dissenting vote (she liked Mid-Missouri Trikers, but came around to agreeing that Central is better.) Actually, Paw and I tried to hold out for "Blacksheep Squadron" but we couldn't get any backers, so we were voted down.
I hadn't thought about the similarity between OMT and CMT until you mentioned it. We may well become the Central Menu Testers...we plan on meeting at different places to see what they are like and then decide if we want to stick with one.
Blacksheep, Congradulations on the new chapter. Who came up with the name Central Missouri Trikers? So now we have OMT & CMT. Since we are the Ozark Menue Testers, you guys can be the Central menu Testers, OK!!
