A party at my house? Wonder why I wasn't invited? Guess I will have to clean out the shop to make room for all the "helpers". No wonder I can't get anything done out there. Lady keeps having parties out there and I am afraid to get it too dirty. Hope to see a lot of you there to help decorate.
I guess sending a letter, talking to the man in charge in person and sending a second letter isn't enough to assure you have a spot to decorate. I called this morning to verify we had the Ava Fire House to decorate the float and was told, "Oh, we don't have any room. We can't have you use the Fire House." I guess notifying me would have been unthought of....of well, I made a deal with the Electric Department to use one of their garages at the Ava Airport instead. We will meet at the Airport Friday, Dec. 2 at 2pm to decorate. The road to the airport is across from the front of Wal-Mart by the ambulance shed. Follow the road down about a block and the airport entrance is on the left. The line up on Saturday, Dec. 3 for the parade is at noon and the parade leaves at 1pm. Following the parade, there will be a Birthday party/dinner at our home. All welcome. Would appreciate an RSVP to be sure I prepare enough food. Ray Baird will be smoking chickens and we'll have all the extras. Have a great day, Lady
