Hey big guy!  I wasn't griping at you!!! I don't think we need a new webmaster--I'm more than happy with who we got, and plenty grateful to you...unless you are just purely fed up with the job and want out, then I want what's best for you!

I don't think we need a new forum, either, just because of little quirks like this. I like this forum. It's easy to work with and easy to read. I just wondered if it was just me...Lil Jinx, you know. Or just my computer.  If this is just something we have to live with to have a free forum, so be it. I can live with it.

Gosh, you do enough as it is. I'm not trying to lay some more work on you. Just thought you might have an easy answer, oh Wise One! Who else am I going to ask?

Lots of love and hugs!!!

"Unread" markers on the Forum

Hey Paw, how come when I log out of this Forum (or get timed out, cause usually I forget to log off), the next time I log back on, it doesn't remember what posts I've read?  I have read every post on here, yet when I signed on tonight it still shows an "unread" check mark on posts as far back as Nov 8th.    Even if I do a Refresh (which I always do first thing anyway), it comes back the same.

That means I have to look to see who posted last on each topic and try to remember if I read it or not...in any case, whether I remember or not, the only way to get rid of those check marks is to open and close each post again.    Am I the only one having this problem?

Remember my name is Little Jinx...last night I was just typing something--the only thing I was touching was the keyboard--and my computer just went dead...Just went black and shut down! Then it restarted itself again.  Blacksheep and our son never have stuff like that happen to them.  And my computer is new, only a couple months old.  Stuff like this is why Blacksheep started calling me a Jinx.    Anyway, that's another subject.  I'm just wondering if anyone else has my problem with the "unread" checks on the Forum?
